Don’t just take our word for it

My son has been going to Nurtured for about six months now and he absolutely adores going. He always runs in so happy and loves all the staff. He’s still in the baby/toddler room but I’m so confident that he will feel safe, happy and well-loved/cared for throughout his next selection of years here. We are so happy with the nursery. He’s made so many lovely friends and the staff always welcome him with big smiles every morning. It’s a lovely local village nursery.

My twin boys have recently started at the nursery. All management and staff have gone above and beyond to cater to their needs. All staff are lovely and welcoming, you can see they're passionate about their jobs and welfare of the children. Couldn't have chosen a better setting for my boys.

Outstanding nursery! My son absolutely loves coming to Nurtured. This is now his 2nd year here, and honestly, we cannot fault it. I can tell how much of an outstanding job they are doing as my son is so eager to go in every day even though he only does 3 days a week. As a parent, I feel so safe and content that my child is happy at nursery. I love seeing his activity photographs on the app, it makes me so happy. Thank you so much guys. Highly recommend.

Nurtured Skelmanthorpe

Nurtured @ Skelmanthorpe is close to a residential area, we are lucky to have lots of adventures on our doorstep. We visit the local parks for nature walks, have regular trips to the library, and have a soft play activity centre close by. We are close to local schools, so the children can build their friendships ready for their transition. We offer school holiday care, with lots of exciting trips and experiences, so those all-important friendships can continue, long after the children leave for school.

Our warm and homely environment gives the children the best possible start to early years education. We have soft lighting and cosy areas to make the children feel settled throughout their day. Our sensory room really ignites the children’s sensory awareness and gives a safe space for not only developing emotional wellbeing, but time for regulating feelings too.
